With other gimbals the gopro slides in easily, but with this one you have to unmount the entire bracket for the Hero 6 to fit, and it's frustrating and time consuming. A special mount should have been made for the newer gopro models. I should have gone with the Zhiyun rider which is less expensive, has a Hero 5/6 mount bracket and basically is the same product. I'm totally disappointed and dissatisfied. I'm not returning it because of shipping and restocking fees. Also, your Youtube video is outdated, so I've been told by your customer representative.

The EVO SS is the best gimbal out there for mountain bikers. It is small, lightweight, customizable and reliable. I have used mine on a few rides already and am very satisfied with my purchase.

I am returning the EVO SS Gimbal that I recently purchased. It seems that the mounting of this unit is more geared towards the Hero4. Once mounted, the user has no way to access the button, without removing the camera, to make any type of camera changes, that are not part of the voice activated options that come as part of the Hero5. The small power cable that mounts from the gimbal to the camera also has to be mounted underneath one of the camera mounting screws, or it will rub up against the gimbal, causing the unit to hang up and not swivel freely.

It seems that if this unit was designed for the Hero5 to be mounted against the opposite side of the camera, it would be more applicable for this camera

Great wearable gimbal. Only shortcoming is the fit for the Garmin Virb 30, which has controls on the top which are partially blocked by the bracket. However, I am uncertain how they could improve on this with the design of the Virb, but it would be an improvement. Otherwise a great design that is very wearable.

Battery charger is not that great. Battery keeps popping out and have to use something to make sure the spring goes in the right place otherwise good.

Haven't had an opportunity to really use the gimbal yet due to the fact that the GoPro accessory adapter was not in the box. I do have to say that Noemi with customer support was fantastic with assisting me with getting the missing part sent to me as quickly as possible. If the gimbal works as well as EVO's customer support then it will be great.

Ordering process was pain free and was fairly quick. When my gimbal arrived I realized that I had a part missing. I contacted customer support via email and Noemi rook care of the issue extremely quickly. I will be spreading the word about the wonderful customer support that EVO has provided.

I borrowed a friend's gimbal (a competitor's model) for a mountain bike trip and wasn't impressed by the large battery or the required "phone cables" that were necessary to put said big battery in my pack. I was impressed by the footage though and when I had another big mountain bike trip planned I decided it was time to buy a gimbal for myself. Once I found the EVO SS, I was pretty sure it was going to be the one. I was very impressed, with the product, the quality, the packaging, and most importantly with it's form factor (size) and use (easy). I put my GoPRO Hero 5 Session camera on it and it was perfect. Stow in my pack for the climbs, install on chest mount for "the downs". Good stuff!

This is an amazing product. It definitely isn't cheap, but it also works exactly as advertised. I still can't believe how well it stabilizes my mountain bike footage. I wish I'd bought one years ago when I first purchased my Gopro.

My experience was excellent. The website is great, the online shopping experience is seamless, I somehow received my shipment all the way in Toronto, Canada within two business days, and the product works perfectly. It's certainly an investment, but it's hard to complain about the price of something that works so well.
