Pros: I would take a clothing stamp any day over ironing individual labels for camp. The ink is holding up well after multiple washes.\n\nCons: The ink bleeds through on light-colored items. My daughter has several white shirts that she can't wear now because we can see the black mark from the outside : (

I stamped all light colored items that my daughter took to camp. It worked perfectly.

What an asset when tackling all the labeling necessary in packing a camp trunk! It really made things move quickly, and my camper could also help in the task. Great for T-shirts, shorts, undergarments, socks, and sheets. OK (not great) for towels. Light color fabrics only. Best to use on the collar or a thick fabric, as the ink can show through on really thin, light material. Lasted through laundering, as well.

This is the single most useful product you will need to prepare for camp. Labeling is usually so unpleasant, but the stamp will make the bulk of the work fast and easy. I have had stamps with both typefaces, but the lowercase loosey goosey one is bigger and stands out better.

This is the answer to our sock-labeling nightmare! In less than one minute, I had all 3 of my sons' socks labeled for camp. You literally just stamp their names on and you're done. It is also good for T-shirts and underwear that don't have tags. I used it on darker colors and it worked even though the description says light colors only.

I used to use the iron labels, but the children complained they were "scratchy" . I then used the stick on labels ( work great on clothes with tags, but fall off the tagless after a few washes). Along came the clothing stamp and our clothes never strayed too far.

I ordered two since both of my girls were going away. It worked really well on clothes, canvas, swimsuits, etc. Tested it out on the swimsuits before they left and it didn't run, fade, or smear. I worked really well, I was pleased. The inkpad was small though so you have to make sure line the stamp up perfectly or it won't come out right. Would have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the inkpad.

Yes it was easy to use, but that doesn't help when I now have to remark ALL my son's clothes with less than 48 hours til camp. The stamps washed off like they were never there. Those that were left were light gray and wouldn't stand up to 1 camp washing. Lesson learned---shortcuts rarely save time.

Used this for my son's camp items. after one wash the stamp was just a black blur, after 2 washes it was completely erased.\nBought one for my daughter as well, but will probably just throw it away and use iron labels.

Works well and have used the past two summers only buying a new ink pad in between. Have three campers we have used this for each time. However I do recommend you be selective with the clothes you use this on. Our light colored clothes and neon clothes were messed up after wash. Label ran on them. I was not too disappointed since the majority of clothes we take to camp are grubbies any ways.

Nothing negative about these stamps. They work great and would buy them again. I used stick-on/iron-on labels in the past for the kid's camp clothes but will use the stamp in the future. Much faster and easier!! Although do be careful of getting ink on your hands :) it does wash off the skin but takes a few times. Also very easy purchase and speedy delivery.

I plan to use this to label items where a stick on label just isn't going to work.

I bought this stamp to use on my son's clothes and it works very well on light colored items. Easy to use and produced clear stamps each time. No traces of it washing off after a few washes.

I hate to iron, so this option is much easier for me. So easy the kids can do it themselves!

Pros: Great Idea.... Easy way to label Cons: It stamped 6 to 8 times... and then completely quit working Comments: I was so disappointed in this product... paid shipping and got it in plenty of time to get 2 weeks of camp clothes labeled... It stamped about 6 to 8 times and quit working... Went over to office supply store and bought one for half the price... and it worked over and over... Store Response: Thank you for your review. I apologize for the stamp problem. Please contact our Customer Service line at 1-800-535-2057 if you have problems or concerns with our products and we will happily take care of them. We have taken care of this stamping issue with the satisfaction the customer.

Pros: Easy to use. Large lettering makes it easy to read. Washes well - doesn't fade Cons: The stamper runs out of ink quickly so you need to buy many refills. Store Response: Thank you for your review. To ensure that the ink pad will work for as long as possible, we suggest removing the ink pad and putting the lid on it between uses.

Pros: Easy and quick to use. Cons: I got two lines and I would recommend only one with the camper's last name. Comments: I would recommend only getting one line (last name) and not adding the phone number. The font gets too small and it is difficult to read.
Nae-Nae - 08/01/2012
Pros: We bought the iron on names last year and they took forever. This stamp worked so quickly and efficiently. The stamp worked on shoes, clothes, etc. It showed up on difficult items like socks and certain fabrics. Great product!
Jbhale - 07/30/2012
Pros: Easy to use, clear image. Cons: We had to watch the video on the website about inserting the ink pad...the directions alone were unclear. Don't leave the ink pad in the cartridge At ALL when not in use. We found that it dries out fast. Comments: Highly recommended, on anything smooth, not towels.
Micelle - 07/25/2012
Pros: Easy, just stamp and go Cons: If you have dark clothing you cannot see the stamp. Not sure if they sell a stamp with white ink but it would be greatly appreciated if they did!!! Comments: I remember going to camp and we had to sew our names into all of our clothes. This stamp made the process so simple. What a blessing!

Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
