After consultation with customer service I was given the opportunity to purchase this belt with the original (not so stretchy) elastic material. It does a much better job of keeping my jeans from slipping down over my flat butt than the newer version. It still requires frequent tightening after standing up or moving around, but it feels much more secure when just walking around. I really like the style and function of the buckle. It locks securely, releases easily, and is comfortable pressing into my portly middle while sitting. I recommend this belt for others who also deal with the big gut / no butt problem. Not perfect, but I think it is the best I've found and should last quite awhile without the buckle breaking or the material losing elasticity.

Received the belt with the 'original' stretch material and have found it to work very well for me. Thanks for your interest in getting me the right belt for my shape. Having a large waist and a flat butt I found that the newer version of elastic was a little too stretchy to hold my jeans comfortably. Customer Service offered me the opportunity to order a belt with the original less stretchy material and it works much better for my body shape. I really like the form and function of the uniquely designed buckle and believe it will be very durable. Good company with a good product and the ability to use PayPal for a secure transaction makes for a happy customer!
