Very happy with this purchase. Works great. Easy to set up and app works well. Has a lot of features. Most importantly, it puts me at ease to know my daughter and I can contact one another while she is away.

We use this for our special needs 16 yr old son so we know where he is when he goes out and that he can only call certain people when he needs us. The GPS could use some work but will hopefully read up on that more, Sometimes it is just alittle off. He really likes it for us this is better 5hen a cell phone for him.

Watch works pretty well for most of the features - GPS tracking, messaging, listening in. Video calling only works about half the time. But I'm disappointed that the temperature and blood pressure are never close to accurate - I constantly get "extreme low temperature" notifications when it's not the case. And super disappointed that I can't check blood oxygen levels remotely - that was one of the things I was most interested in with my child wearing a mask all day at school - I wanted to be able to check his breathing. Also a little disappointed that I called customer support for help with trying to fix the temperature readings and a couple of other questions - I was rushed off the phone as if she had other things she needed to be doing and never received via email the information she said she was going to send. Overall we are happy with our purchase, but there are definitely things that can be improved.

We love our watch so far. Bought for my 12 year old since he started middle school and a I need a way to communicate with him. Not ready for him to have a cell phone so this was perfect for us! I feel so much safer with him having this!

I’m really struggling to like this…phone calls with my child tend to get cut off after about ten seconds, nearly every time, and most of the time when I’m sending her messages through the chat application it limits me to just a few characters, so I can’t even send full sentences, forcing me to send five messages in a row with a few words at a time. I can’t for the life of me make sense of the gps tracking…no manual came with the watch, and I’m unable to find clear instructions online. Occasionally it will tell me where she is, but most of the time it’s painfully behind and simply won’t tell me any updated info on her location. (Even when I disable WiFi and confirm she has 4G coverage where she is.) It fits great, and looks nice, but so far I’m not pleased.

Highly disappointed in customer service of this watch. We have yet to receive this product although we paid for 2 day express for my daughters birthday gift. We contacted customer support for help and to see if they would offer a partial refund since we paid them for rushed shipping. We were told it’s not their problem and we need to contact UPS. After spending over an hour of our time, we contacted UPS and they’re working on getting it to us. Now my daughter doesn’t have her bday gift and I’m unimpressed with the service we received from Angel Watch. Not off to a good start.

Once we hand it off to them, of course with UPS being a different company entirely, there's little else that we can do. We completely rely on them to provide a reliable service at that point. I can understand the frustration but maybe it's a little unfair to put the blame squarely on us and post this rating that's intended for the product?

We really want to make sure this does get resolved for you but we really hope you'll reconsider attributing the full blame to us on an issue that is solely UPS's failing..
Would it be fair enough if we compensated you half of the shipping fee you paid as a goodwill gesture? We won't get that back from UPS and we'll be the ones out of pocket here but we'd really like to do something to earn your rating reconsideration for your Angel Watch.

The gps never shows the correct location. It always shows as miles away. Whenever I attempt a video call it says the device is offline, when I know it isn't. Voice calls rarely go through. I don't even have her wear it anymore because there isn't a point.

Hi Kyleigh,
It sounds like you have some settings incorrect. Please check you've got things set up right using the following:
1. Ensure you are using the SIM card that came in the package with the watch or ordered from our website (USA Only); or any other globally compatible SIM card.
2. Activate your SIM card at www.angelwatchco.com/activate (USA only) or follow your international network's activation procedure
3. Ensure your Angel Watch app account is in the North America (sign out of your app to check). If not, log in with your incorrect region, delete your account and re-register in North America. You can use your previous email address.
4. If using Red Pocket Mobile, ensure your your watch is set to APN Airvoice Wireless (go to Settings-Mobile Networks-APN) or search online for your international network's correct APN settings.
5. When you swipe down on the face of the watch, you must see 4G or LTE and at least 2 bars of service.
6. Disable WiFi on the watch to ensure all cellular data traffic is working.
7. On your Angel Watch™ App, go to ME (bottom right)-Device List-Edit-Delete Device. You will now be prompted to add a new device.
8. Restart both the watch (Settings-Reboot) and the app (swipe closed and reopen)
9. Re-add the device ensuring you are using the QR Code app on the watch and scan the RegCode using the app to register. Please don't use apostrophes in the device's name.

We really wanted to like the angel watch. Unfortunately it was very difficult to get to work in the first place. I could only get text messages to go through on occasion and the tracking was always very off. Random numbers call my son and it makes a static noise when calls come through. Would definitely not recommend. I didn’t want to get my 7 year old an Apple Watch but it seems it is the only option if I want a reliable way to have contact with my son and keep track of him.

I was sadly disappointed in this watch. We were looking for a device where we could control communication but be able to be in contact with our son and be able to track his whereabouts when we give him some freedom. It never worked. SIM card had to keep being put in and taken out and restarted. Went on and offline all the time. Texting was spotty and tracking never was accurate.
