I have two Millenia-Advantage Air coolers and am broken hearted I cannot obtain the reed filters that hold so much water. No one has them and I have been using the two I have for three years. They are practically all mineral deposits. The last ones I bought I got from Ace Hardware but they no longer have them. Whoever invented this cooler is a genius because it runs practically for free.

I really wish that this product would come back in stock, and more people realized what a great product it is. I really want to buy another but cannot find one available ANYWHERE. It seems silly that as we head towards the hottest part of our season in CA and other places, which is August-October, the stores care more about heaters than making these available. I have purchased other brands only to return them. I do not even put this by a hot open window. I simply put a regular fan behind it so it has an extra air source. With a full tank of water, it keeps our bedroom cool on low all night long. During the day I aim it at me in our loft where my studio is and where it gets very hot, and I am comfortable all day. Sometimes even cold. I am in a very dry SoCal climate and have a terrible dry eye and dry allergy problem, so that fact that it adds humidity is a big plus. I was let down that they are now making some brands with dehumidifiers-which I do not want! You do have to clean it and replace parts from time to time. I recently replaced the fan belt which was a bit tricky and I have to keep the fan belt greased and replace the filter each summer but other than that, this is the best evaporative cooler I have owned. I have a few others that are simply inferior to this. Try to get it back in stock, please!
