I am at your mercy as whether the water is clean or not. A regular meter does not detect everything but the TDS tester does not show any improvement.

The CrazyCap 2 Value Pack seems to be a great product. It’s a quality water bottle with a UV cap. The bottles and the caps seem to be living up to the provided description. The stainless steel bottle keeps beverages cool, as stated. We fill our bottles with cold water at our 9pm bedtime. When we wake up between 5-6am, the water is still deliciously cold. As far as the actual purpose of my purchase: the UV cleaning capabilities, I’ve “only” been utilizing the UV cap for about 14 days. During this time, the stainless steel does get build up around the interior of the mouth piece (easily washes off). However, the build up isn’t accompanied by the typical unpleasant scent I’ve had with the average, non UV stainless steel water bottle. I was previously utilizing an average stainless steel bottle with a typical cap closure, for about a year. Unfortunately, despite regular washings, deep bleachings, and peroxide cleanings, my previous bottles had a significantly unpleasant scent. This scent was almost bad enough to where I considered never ever using a stainless steel bottle again lol. So I did some research and found CrazyCap. I took a peek behind the scientific evidence of UV light in regards to disinfecting capabilities in regards to water. The research seems to provide positive findings of effective results. So I took the plunge and orders this value pack. There’s a few less than positive aspects, but these are likely fluid, and just from my personal prospective: 1). Cost/Value could be greatly improved. The cost for the CrazyCap 2 Value Pack almost made me decide to pass on this purchase or keep looking. Fortunately/thankfully, I found a promo code that helped a tad, but still… I caught myself wanting to under exaggerate about the costs of this purchase when a family member asked me about the cost of the bottles. I wanted to say “$50 per bottle with the cap” but didn’t want to fib lol. The family member was shocked in regards to the cost of the bottles (more than $50 each). I think $50 each would be a comfortable price point for 1 stainless steel bottle, with 1 CrazyCap. At that price point, I would make this purchase again, with much less hesitation. A typical/standard stainless steel bottle is about $12.50 each (a set of 2 stainless steel bottles with typical caps is about $25 at a wholesale store near me, with free shipping at Sam’s) - The water holding capacity could be improved. I feel this bottle would be better if it were to provide a 24-32 ounces holding capacity. However, these bottles may have a certain capacity limit due to strategic purposes like providing a more universal fit on other bottles perhaps (and maybe there’s already a larger size available). Other than these things, I’m enjoying this purchase and would recommend this item to others, but only if they’re comfortable spending at this price point.
