I was looking to refinance my two mortgages into one and was referred to the Veritas Funding team/offices in Salt Lake City/Cottonwood. I was initially disappointed when I received my rate quote from Veritas, as it was higher than I typically see advertised by other entities. However, after speaking with a couple of the members of the Veritas team (for which I appreciate the time they took with me), and running the numbers, it became clear that the rate they were giving me was actually comparable to the rate I would have gotten from other lenders, once all of the other details were factored in (i.e. type of loan, closing costs, etc...). Thus, I felt very comfortable completing the process with them in the end.

Overall experience was satisfactory, with couple hiccups:
1) Had to provide my documents twice, which was time consuming with closing date near by
2) Delayed email responses with respect to quotes

Overall Brent did an amazing job of working with me on getting loans ready to purchase my first home. There were times when documents weren't available a specified time to me but he went above and beyond to get them to me from the other people that worked on my loan processing.

Mr Liley was constantly in touch every step of the process. Patient with explaining the basics of things I probably should have known but didn't take the time to learn. He went the extra mile to run calculations and comparison estimates for why I should refinance.
