I have the xa pro3d shoes and grabbed this for the color. I find myself wearing the Sua Spontes more. They are incredibly light and offer great traction. I can’t test the durability as I have only had them a few weeks.

I have 8+ Salomon shoes and boots and these are by far the best yet. Extremely comfortable and well designed. The forces seem to fit a 1/2 size big to me.

Had these shipped to my hotel so I can use them for MFF training. I own the Forces 2 boot which are fine. But the Gore Tex lining made wearing them in the warm tropic climates uncomfortable. Also, the tongue of those boots always seem to stick out from the bottom of my fight suit and uniform trousers especially when wearing the parachute harness, very annoying. I love the improved design features of this boot. My feet were comfortable in the Texas humidity. They also were very comfortable in the Arizona desert. These will be my go to boot for all my jumps.

I haven't received my boots yet so I can't really leave a review of them BUT... Please for the LOVE OF GOD do NOT use the USPS for delivery of your products from here on out. Their tracking info is beyond screwy! I was told my boots would arrive yesterday by 8pm.. Still haven't arrived and their tracking info is now ALL over the place as far as where my boots are. Been trying to get a hold of someone in the USPS customer care, not possible! I'd pay more money for shipping to be able to go through a company that I can actually see where my boots are at. This is beyond ridiculous. You need to fire them as a transport carrier and use UPS/Fed-ex! PLEASE!! Haha

One of my buddies always talks about how much he like Salomons, i always thought about buying some and would look on website and talk myself out of it. Finally decided to buy a pair, i really like the black and grey, I ordered them on a thrusday morning with the cheapest shipping and they were on my porch saturday, 2 DAYS LATER. FAST SHIPPING. I absolutely love these, so comfortable and they fit very true to size. I will be buying the all black ones very soon.

Some mean street cleats these are !!!!! I can see myself ordering another pair to back up the new ones that just arrived. Good call on removing the Gor-tex. Don't need it in Hawaiian climates . Good work US Elite/Salomon,. these are epic !

I were a 12W, the toe box accommodates my web feet. They arrived on Friday and I wore them all day Saturday in the Carbine class that I took. Boots broke in with no sore feet. Get sum!

Love these Salomons, been waiting for US Elite's next masterpiece and it was worth the wait! Home on the range, around town or playing grabass with my pups. The new model (XA Forces) is a lot more built than the previous generation (XA Pro), and the piece inside (on the left for the right shoe, and vice versa) for rappelling / fastroping caught me by surprise at first...but I became kumbaya with it after a couple wears.

i love the grey and black design a lot. i think the black gives it something that pops and makes you notice the shoes on someone's foot more than the standard all grey. if there is a squeak, it will wear off after a short bit of wear - awesome boot!!!
