!t Seems like it’s got a tool for just about everything. Possibly a bit bulky for carry in your pocket for every day use, but should be a must have for camping and hunting trips.

Everything seemed easy to search EXCEPT when looking for the XAVT. If you know the name, it was easy. You could just search. However, if you are just looking for the higher end victorinox knives, its a bit more tricky.

I bought this knife for my collection. It has pretty much everything (if not everything) that Swiss Army has ever had on a knife. I have used it camping and for general things around the house or in my shop BUT it is a large tool. I would only recommend it for people who do not plan to carry it around all day long. You can get a lot done with it. It comes in handy, just like any other Swiss knife.

This is a really cool knife. It is a collector's edition and it really is too big to routinely carry and use it. I am very glad that I bought it though. The knife *is* fun. I usually amuse myself with it rather than show it off to other people. Life is good enough that I can afford this little luxury for myself. My wife flew us to Switzerland to get it just to be cool. I could have gotten it cheaper in the US than in Switzerland but we had a pretty good little vacation out if it. Wenger has a much larger collector's edition knife. I looked at both and this one is way cooler.

Sure is a great addition to a collection but so much uneeded junk makes it kind of overkill. Price is just crazy.

All I can say is that this folder is capable of drawing a favorable crowd just about anywhere in "This World Of Ours." I'm sorry to say, that like anything else of quality one needs to be a bit careful if looking to purchase this beauty, for "Fakes" are starting to show up in different areas of the World. By the way, I’ve been asked, a number of times, “How can you be sure you are not getting a fake?” For them the answer is ALWAYS THE SAME, “Buy it from the leader in the field.”

I read the detail, it doesn't list compass FROM SWISS KNIFE SHOP: The SwissChamp XAVT does not have a compass. It does have an altimeter, thermometer, digital clock and barometer among its 80+ features, however.

This fun knife is the biggest Swiss folding knife ever, if it doesn't have the blade or tool on it, they don't make it. its so big its fun. people just marvel at it as they open all the blades. This knife is just plain fun. you could take over a small country with it....
