I carried "multi-tools" on my gunbelt for at least two decades, breaking, losing, or wearing out at least four different tools. My CX has treated me far better than any of the others, and has followed me into retirement as a daily companion. It must be in our blood, because my son, a Border Patrol supervisor on the Arizona border carries a CX as well. I bought mine on his recommendation.

I purchased the Skeletool CX several years ago for a salt-water fishing trip. It has become as ubiquitous as my cell phone and wallet. After several years of beating the crap out of it and taking it on salt water trips, it is almost as if new save a few scratches. In fact, I misplaced it for a while and actually replaced it! So I think enough of this tool to have a spare!

I have carried many pocket knives in my 64 years but I can truthfully say that if I lost this one I would buy a new one immediately. It is in my pocket at all times ready to serve as many tools or as a crowd pleaser-beer bottle opener! Pull out this bad-boy at a party and the ladies will swoon.
