Just can't wait to use my projector

I decided to purchase from this company based on their good reviews posted on their web page and low prices. I placed my order on 11/25/16. It is now 3/22/17 and I still have not received my order. When I hadn't received my order I contacted them in January. I was contacted back by John, the supervisor and was told that he would check on it and get back to me. After several excuses, and more attempts to send it to me, he finally offered to refund my money until I received the item since so much time had passed and said that I would then have to pay again when I actually received it. When I emailed again to check in because I hadn't received it in February, I was told that the shipping department hadn't sent it because they saw the refund in the system so thought the order was cancelled. Really?! Then after waiting again a couple of weeks, I was told that actually the truth was it was Chinese New Year so the shipping office had been closed for 2 weeks and that I would receive it shortly. Weeks pass, I still haven't received it and now am told that it's not in stock and would I want a different one that wasn't as good but they would give it to me for free for my trouble. I looked on line to compare the projectors to see if this other one would work for me. On their website, the one I had ordered and wanted said it was IN STOCK on the website. I told them that it wouldn't help me to have one that didn't have enough lumens to work in a partially lit room and that I wanted to wait to get the one that I had ordered. Then I'm told, "well, it's out of stock and they don't know when it will be coming in or if they will even be getting more in since it isn't a big seller," and that " A third party updates their website so it isn't always up to date." I am not the type of person to write reviews- good or bad, but I feel like I have been more than patient and given this company every attempt to make this right. In my final attempt to contact them I asked if they would give me the next model up that would work for me at the lower price of the one I had ordered since it now wasn't available and I had been getting the runaround for months. I felt like that was a fair solution. I have not heard back from the supervisor or anyone from the company since that last attempt over a week ago. I felt like I wanted to be sure any person who was thinking about buying from this company had an opportunity to see that the customer service actually isn't very good and might think about buying from a different company instead.
