I booked a car and the company that was supplying the car had shut for the day so I had to go to another rental company. Will never use this company againand will let everyone not to go with them. Im begging that you return my money

I booked a car reservation with the Booking Group in early January 2024 for $227.23. The advertised terms in their website said that I could cancel for free 48 hours prior to the pick up date. I did so, but according to the fine print (which was intentionally hidden to mislead consumers) I would only get a full refund in credit with the Booking Group and they would take out a $65.28 fee if I asked for a refund using my original payment method. I have contacted them several times via email and over the phone asking for a full refund, but they instead issued a partial refund for $161.95. Their support team has been extremely unhelpful and makes it intentionally difficult to speak to anyone or get any concrete answers. I would like a full refund of the reservation for a total returned amount of $227.23.

Well I booked easily enough but now need to cancel and am cancelling my whole trip to NZ due to family matter.
This looks hard to cancel
I don't think i would use this place again to book a car as I am not sure if they are going to make it so hard that i cannot get my refund/ stop the payment going through.

I made a booking with the understanding of free cancellation before 48 hours of pick-up time. It was written free cancellation. But when I wanted to cancel a week before pick up, they charged 65 dollars cancellation fees and the remaining refund will take 21 days to credit to my credit. I am very disappointed.

I am still waiting for the results of the investigation into my not receiving a car from Green Motion it has been quite a few months since we complained about not getting a vehicle and I was wondering if you had decided to repay my money as we did not receive any information from you guys one way or another.

Due to severe inclement weather in Memphis, I was forced to cancel my trip 1 day before I was to leave. It is very discouraging that there's no option to rebook later when inclement weather prevents completion of a rental.

I canceled my booking due to a flight cancellation. It is now being clarified. that to receive money I have to pay 60 euros. At the time of booking, it was stated that there was a possibility of free cancellation without additional charges.

I booked the car through Economy Bookings and prepaid to make sure I will have a car seat for my baby.
However the day when I went to the rental car place, I was told I have to buy their insurance, rent their toll pay device even if I have my own.
This is a country of freedom, people should have option to choose what they want and what they don't. I didn't pick up the car and went to Hertz with the same condition, I got a car and drove out 30mins later. At this point, I still didn't get the prepaid money back yet.
On the website there is no any additional information of the mandatory charges for the insurance and toll pay device at all. In other words, this like a fraud business for the rental car and this website.
