My experience with the online chat was non productive. Even though a person was identified to chat, she never responded to my question. I ended the chats (attempted twice). But calling the company and speaking with someone was very helpful.

I've never yet needed to use it, but when a trip fell through for my original dates and I had to change to another trip a couple of months later, Travel Insured allowed me to transfer my coverage without penalty. Now I'm off on a new trip and am pleased to have the assurance that if I need to use it, these guys will come through.
