My fascination with watches started when I was a boy
I grew up poor, and each watch that I saved and purchased became special. As, an adult, I comfortably afford watches and confess that I now own 25 mechanical jeweled watches. I once owned in excess or 35, but I have been tempted often to give them away.
I have given up the search for that one
perfect watch, as I own such a splendid variety. So the shopping for a new watch aside, all that remains is the tending to and caring for the collection. I wear them all and find that the bands suffer. I have a local jeweler that cleans, fixes and tends to movements, but… his supply of watch bands, has always made me feel like I was discounting and neglecting the treasures.
Three days ago, stumbled onto your web site! I found myself a-glow with delight! I purchased 4 bands that I would never have found at my local supplier. Now, three days later, I have mended 4 watches and all is right with the world!
Now, the fantastic issues is that I live on the opposite side of the country! I have driven cross country, at break neck speed, non stop, yet feel so pleased that not only did the mail system work, but that the watch bands were beautifully packaged and wrapped for travel.
