I was looking for an alternative to rawhide for both my own dogs and my foster puppies. These sticks are a good size in that the adult dogs can finish them after some chewing and they hold up for the puppies for a couple of days. They also have much less odor than some of the other bully sticks I have had.

I made a mistake in ordering. Had a hard time what I had ordered in the past and ordered this for first time. I have a small dog (Doxipin) who is a heavy chewer and he devours these in 10 minutes (try to catch him with about an inch left and take away so he doesn't swallow whole). I meant to order "thick" sticks which he has had in the past and spends about an hour on. I think these would be great for lighter chew. My boy LOVES bully sticks and am grateful to have the option of "thick' sticks for the heavy chewer and engulfer that he is.
