I have used my BK2 in the woods more than any other knife I own probably. It is a knife you can grab and unless you lose it somehow, you don't have to worry about it. Its not going to break or fall apart no matter what. It has been called the "Becker Train Wrecker" and I think that is a great name for it. The blade is a little thick for some cutting tasks and its not easy to put a razor sharp edge on, but its a awesome knife for the money! I love the sheath too.

The SRK is just an all around great knife! Its not a big knife, but its very tough and well designed. I have taken this one with me deep in the Mobile/Tensaw delta many times on kayak camping trips. Its light weight and its just as solid as it can be. I don't worry about this knife. It will do anything I need it to. This was my first knife constructed of AUS-8 stainless steel. I love it! It takes a great edge! Came with one too. Never thought I would love a stainless steel blade. I love the SecureX sheaths too. Love them!

My Vox Rold is one of the best/sharpest knives in my collection. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it. The design is close to what the "perfect Knife" should be IMO. . Its one of the more expensive knives I own and its made in China. That being said, its very well made and Its construction is near flawless. The D2 tool steel blade from the factory was sharp enough to shave your face with. Even after some use in the woods making fires and so forth it is still just as sharp. I have never sharpened this knife and it is the sharpest knife I own. "I have hundreds". Its a keeper. The large grommet close to the choil worries me. I do feel like that is a weak point if batoning or chopping with this knife. This is a knife that works for almost any situation. I like to even use it in the kitchen preparing meals at home.

The Benchmade 477 Emissary has an exceptional build quality and makes a great EDC. The Emissary comes razor sharp, just out of the box. It is my nice EDC, a bit more expensive than my others, but well worth it! It's extremely durable and fits very well in your hand. Only complaint is that it can be very hard to close with one hand--it is possible, but it's not as easy as I would like.

By far Knife hog has the best price for the Becker BK2 on the internet. With their rewards program, free shipping, and promo codes, the price can`t be beat. The Becker BK2 is the best woodsman/survival knife out there at a decent price.

While this knife is not spring loaded, it is VERY easy to flip open. The action on it is almost like there is a spring...with just a small flick of the wrist and a slight pull on the tab that looks like a finger guard in the picture, and it clicks open! Showed this to a couple of friends and it kinda scared them when they heard the click and saw the blade appear from out of thin air. As for the feel of the knife, I like it. It fits well in my hand and the finger grooves really make it easy to grab. I know I will not have any problem using this knife in the field when things are slippery and/or cold.

The 477 knife is an excellent Benchmade. Hefty, smooth, lightning quick. I could see using it as an every-day carry or as a camping knife. A few notes: -- Tighten the pivot screw to get the play out of the blade. Be careful and use micro turns or you could easily effect the opening system. Which while it is nice takes at least 50 opens over the course of a couple of days to work into a nice smooth opening or maybe I just needed to get used to blade release. -- Tighten the pocket clip with some loctite on the screws. These screws are easy to strip. BE CAREFUL! Hand tighten one turn with a dab of loctite in the channel. Of course if you plan to move the clip or ever take it off this is an incredibly bad idea. -- I have read complaints about the blade coating scratching off the S30V steel of 3.5" Benchmade, but I have yet to notice this in my own use. Don't believe everything you read. Then again what does that say about my commentary??? -- SHARP BLADE. Be careful. The straight edge of the emissary is incredibly sharp out of the box. Not to be used as a starter knife for a kid. The blade length of 3.5 inches and sharpness are for adults only. Pros: Fits my girthy hand, sharp blade, smooth opening system Cons: Not a starter edc. Axis locking system

Very nice knife with the amazing ZDP-189 steel. Impressive!!! The only complaint that I have would be the condition of the box from shipping in an envelope. Since I collect knives, condition of the box is very important. If I were to ever sell, the value would be less because of the box.

I ordered this knife on a whim when purchasing another item. I am so glad I did! This little guys is a beautiful knife with a razor sharp blade. I have a larger Puma knife I use for hunting and love it. This one is a real treasure and is great as an every day carrying knife. It is such a beauty, I gave it to my nephew as a gift for graduating college. Now I am placing an order for 2 more...one for me and the other to be given as a gift. This knife is one that you would want to pass down to the next generation...if they don't take it from you first!!

Used something similar to this as a kid and referred to them as a corn knife. I saw this machete and I guess I was feeling a little nostalgic, so I ordered one. I am familiar with Cold Steel and really like their stuff. When this arrived, I was a little surprised at the weight of it. I expected it to be heavier, but after swinging it around a little, I am glad it isn't. This does have a little heft to it but not too much, and it really did the job. It arrived a little on the dull side but after some work with a stone, I was able to give it a better edge. After giving it a light workout, I am really impressed and very happy I ordered it. This one will stay in my truck for when I need to clear some shooting lanes or build a natural blind.

The knife was as described, and shipped quickly and securely. This is a nice size -- a solid, hefty Bowie, but not massive like some are. Appears to be solid construction, in the handle and blade. The sheath is sturdy leather and nice.

Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
