The express check out has a bug in the street address window. So I switched to the regular checkout area and it worked fine. Other than this, the process of ordering a wheel chair for my poor yellow lab was pretty straight forward. I am thankful to have this equipment available.

My dog decided to backup several times on her walk today. The walker wheels forced her backwards until she had almost fallen over and the rear frame hit the ground. Her back leg was cut in a couple of places because the rear frame pressed against her legs when she fell backwards and put all her weight on the frame. When I tried to remove the brackets on the back of the walker, the screws were so tight and the Phillips head screws were partly stripped from whoever installed them. Had to use an impact driver which was barely able to remove the screws so the brackets wouldn't cut her legs if she falls backwards again. Either that or one of the side frames would have had to be replaced. There is no reason such small screws should ever be so over tightened. Fortunately, I was able to remove the dangerous brackets. We need a foam rubber tube over the back of the frame to reduce leg injuries on the sharp frame edges or else a brace added to prevent the walker from tipping backwards. There is no way a dog can get up when the walker tips backwards. She might have broken a leg because of this design flaw. I ended up adjusting the wheels backwards more but who knows if that will prevent her from falling backwards. It might just make the situation worse if she tips over on the back frame again. Although I’ve only had this wheelchair for a few weeks, my dog’s condition has significantly improved. Because she had a slipped disc, her legs had minimal movement. Not only does this wheelchair allow her to move around the house and get outdoors, but it makes it easier for me to do physical training with her. I’m so grateful my vet recommended this company. She now has more movement in her legs and I’m confident she will be walking soon. I can’t say thank you enough. It’s worth the purchase

My dog has tried this his first day so far, he needs more practice with it, getting used to turning and not bumping into walls as he walks close to them. And I am still figuring out the adjustments to get it 'just right'.

This is a good, helpful device, I am looking forward to my dog being able to use it more outside. I watched some Walkin' Wheels videos to learn how to get the harness on correctly and connect and adjust the rest of it. The veterinarian was ignorant and un-knowledgeable about it, wouldn't measure him for it or even help with any part of it, scared of liability.

The wheelchair was difficult to put together for my dog because he was so weak that I couldn't get the measurements right. Once I did get him into it he was too weak to actually use it and ended up passing a couple of days after it arrived. I am sure it would have been great for him, had he been able to use it.

It is heartbreaking when and extremely active dog becomes suddenly paralyzed in his back end. Walkin’ Wheels restored both Jack’s spirit and his sparkle. Suddenly his ability to get his own water and food was restored and his ability to run on the beach again was a game changer. Worth every penny, every moment.

It is proving more challenging to get my dog to use the walker. I have followed the guidelines to slowly introduce her to it and work on it for short periods of time each day and using treats for encouragement, but my dog is still very hesitant to walk with it on her own.

Product appears to be well made, but is a bit pricey. Initial setup can be a little daunting but if it allows my fur baby to get out and walk again it will be well worth it.

We were extremely happy to received "the cart" (as we like to call it), but we were very surprised how hard it is to use on a walk without a handle of some type. It's especially needed as my girl adjusts to something new: with a handle we could help control where she walks (so she's not off the curb) as well as give her a push when she needs it going uphill. Why wouldn't something like that at least be offered as an accessory if it can't be standard? I see from your site that you have a flag that can be attached to the back, so I don't know how a handle couldn't also be attached in that fashion. I have ordered a handle that attaches to a bike, hoping it will fit and work. Seriously, why no handle? A wheelchair without a handle? This would work great for running in an open field, probably, but not as well for just going on walks in a city. In terms of quality, it appears to be well-made and we hope it will become more useful when we can steer it.

Your website is quite complete and easy to maneuver. Lots of info, which is good. We ordered it online and received it fairly quickly. We haven't spoken with anyone there, so can't comment on that.

The wheels are too tall, so I had to order shorter wheels! I measured her @ 20inch & ordered the 17-20" wheels w/ her chair but apparently I measured wrong cuz her butt is too high @ the lowest setting! Can't wait to receive the shorter wheels!
