Could have ordered cheaper from competitor website but your site looked more professional. I did have an issue with ordering the incorrect part, but they responded promptly over the Labor Day weekend. I was shipped the part out Tuesday morning and received it Saturday. This fixed the laptop and it is working fine. Next time I will call to make sure i am ordering the correct part.

Straightforward to find and buy the right part amongst many. However:
I've used laptopjacks.com before and found them to offer an efficient and economical service for hard-to-find items. So when I needed a jack socket for a Samsung NP300E5A-A04DX notebook PC, I immediately went to them. I was a bit surprised to see that the part cost USD19.99 which was about 4x more expensive than previous jack sockets I'd ordered, but I trusted them to offer a representative price and ordered one, paying an additional USD12.95 for delivery from the USA to the UK.
More fool me. Soon afterwards, I found out that an equivalent part was available for GBP2.79 from a UK eBay vendor, post free! That's USD3.60 approx, a ninth of the total price I paid laptopjacks.com. I ordered one, it arrived the next day, I fitted it and got the repaired laptop back to my client long before the part from laptopjacks.com arrived (delay due to postal service - laptopjacks.com dispatched the part straight away).
So the overall message is that it pays to shop around! laptopjacks.com may be a good company to deal with, but their prices on some items may be uncompetitive, especially if you're ordering from overseas.

My fiancee's laptop took a dive and wouldn't charge anymore. It was a big deal b/c she uses it for her business as an independent transaction coordinator for realtors of a local real estate company. The way she described the problem sounded like it could possibly be the dc jack, so i did some checking online for the part. Couldn't really find it b/c it's an older model. Like 6 years old. I couldn't find any dc jacks for a Sony Vaio SVT151A11L and was resigned to having to buy a whole new laptop for her, which would suck b/c we are currently saving for our wedding. I found this site, and even though the model series described wasn't exact, the part number was. Ordered 2 just in case, and overnighted it. Replaced the part using Youtube videos as a reference, and it's now working as before. Thank God lol.
