It is very complicated to get the cart properly set up for your dog. I can't tell you how many times I have watched the video and read the little booklet. We still don't have it right, and it is very taxing on our dog (and not setting him up for a positive experience with the cart!). Hoping once we get it set up right (height, strap length, etc.), he will be able to extend his walks (our GSD has DM), but right now I can't opine on functionality of the cart!!

So far we have not contacted them about our purchase, as I don't think they can give us much help over the phone. I have had to Google you tube videos to help address certain fitting issues.

My 12 yr old Husky/Shepherds mix, Chloe, has one back leg. Her back right leg was amputated 4 yrs ago. As time went on she began to gain weight bc she couldn’t run and exercise. It has become increasingly difficult for her left leg to hold her up. Just to move around she would have to drag herself. Our veterinarian suggested the doggie wheelchair. We ordered one. The video and directions were good but not being familiar with the wheelchair it took us a little longer than it probably should have to put it together. We are going slow at getting her use to it. We can see it will be of significant value to her to move around like she use to once she becomes comfortable in it.

Overall a very good product and working well for our German Shepherd, Fred. The only issue we are having is the stirrups supplied with unit: they so not stay adjusted and the foam moves to the side so his legs are just supported on the elastic cords.

so far so good, we have received the product and once we put together and use it should perform as well as the other set of wheels borrowed to us to see if our dog would use it

I would like to see a ratcheting system in the wheels or a tire lock so my dog can push back without moving backwards. Unfortunately my dog passed shortly after so I can't give a reliable review either way, good or bad.

This wheelchair is amazing! It’s given my dog freedom and she’s enjoying her mile-long walks again. When her rear end gets weak, the chair supports her 75 pound body nicely. It’s sturdy and rugged for walking on I paved surfaces. She easily adapted to the chair. I’m so glad I bought it!

not sure yet; the instructions were not very clear in the book; had to use the videos and have my daughter help Placing the silver extensions in by pushing the little black button was not easy; it kept getting stuck. I received it April 3 and just not put together today 4/10 I have not tested with my dog yet. He has degenerative myelopothy; I will have to see how he does. I may have to send it back within 30 days.

It has only been a week and we are still testing out the wheel chair but I think it is a good fit. I have a 90 lb German Shepherd, and she seems to like it on pavement, still getting use to it on the grass. It can definitely work well on grass, we plan to try it on a flat hiking trail soon.
