After melting the scales on my first Swiss Champ from the 90's with some brake cleaner, I purchased a second one with a sheath and sharpener. I may have then given the first one away but I'm not sure about that. After using the second one for pounding "several" times (because it was what I had on me) the scales are now busted up. So I retired it to the kitchen after ordering a third Swiss Champ and sheath with a sharpener. Since my Swiss Champs have been my only can opener, I figured that the kitchen would be a good place for a semi retirement. Now I want a fourth for a backup or to just keep somewhere handy. Besides that, I would like to pass one on to my nephew someday.
