Actually works! My horse loves the powder on his entire itchy body!! I used mostly for his tail rubbing but he has sensitive skin and so I use it also on his back! I used the mud on fetlocks and they have cleared up!! I will buy again.

My gelding is not itchy and his hives are gone after two applications of paste and one of powder. He is so happy and able to ride again!!

I am loving both products. This was a perfect way to try both. I use the powder on my pony's neck under her thick mane every day. I would love a container that had a narrow opening and squeeze bottle so that you could "point and shoot" the powder. I hate to waste any of it! I love it so much!

The paste has worked well to dry out and heal bites and swellings. The powder does not seem to be quite as effective so far. Hoping to see what happens over time.

My mare rubbed out part of her mane and the top of her tail from sweet itch and I've been using the powder. It seems to be helping, she has not been rubbing her mane and tail and there is new growth. I would recommend this product. Thank you

I honestly haven’t needed to use the powder very much yet - but the drying paste is kind of blowing my mind. My thin skinned chestnut thoroughbred mare had horrible flu allergies earlier this summer and huge open raw patches on her flanks and under her belly. The drying paste dried them up in days and they are already almost completely covered with new hair about 3 weeks later. Amazing. She’s starting to get scratches on her heels and I’m hoping it will work as well with those.

I got this for my mare who has insect allergies and needs to be kept in during days and is on prednisolone tablets daily. Even so, she will still run raw spots on her face and neck, and gnaw on her front cannon and pasterns. I mainly bought this not knowing what would help, so thought I'd try both the paste and powder. I have mainly used the paste. It has helped dry the rubbed spots. She seems to itch less, and having fewer rubbed spots, but since she's on steroids, can't tell for sure which it is.

I purchased this product because of video claims that it would stop my mare from rubbing her tail. It did not. This was an expensive mistake.

The request to review product is too soon to see long term results. The clay worked great to quickly kill my horse's scratches. The powder has been applied to his coat in hopes of stopping the fungal skin crud he gets in heavy sweat areas. The items were shipped immediately and I am very pleased with that quality. I wish the powder was in a plastic container, as the paper absorbs moisture in the barn (Florida in summer) so I had to bring it into the house, but that makes it a hassle to carry back and forth.

I love the bigger size on the coat Defense Powder! I wish as a bundle it came with just shampoo and the large powder. The jar of salve was too thick to use on my little dog. I thought it would be more like a cream but the texture is more like mud and dried like mud in his skin. Probably good for horses but not a small dog. Would love it if you invented a drying cream. I don’t have to use flea meds anymore which my dog is allergic to because this powder seems to keep fleas and flies away! Excellent product for drying out my dogs skin allergies! Only thing i have found that works. The vet told me to keep up whatever I am doing for his skin. Love coat defense!

This worked very well on my mare that breaks out in welts during the bug season. One application and she was more comfortable and the welts disappeared within a few days. I wish I would have taken pictures but didn’t.

Didn't appear to help. Our Mare is rubbing the hair off her tail. Tried these products and if anything it got worse.

This product is amazing, and the company gets it shipped out immediately ! Our Doberman Phoenix has been itching during the summer for years. She's had allergy medicine, steroids, and every type of shampoo and conditioner in existence. Unfortunately with no real relief. We ordered Coat Defense powder and paste, and we're already seeing improvement ! I'd recommend this product to anyone..
