How long does it take to set up Shopper Approved on my site?
It only takes about 5 minutes to sign up, select your seal options, and copy and paste the code onto your site. That's it!
How does Shopper Approved work?
Shopper Approved has two parts - An initial rating and review survey, and a full survey after a customer receives their order. The initial survey comes up on your thank you page right after a customer orders, giving them the opportunity to provide their initial thoughts and feelings, along with the ability to opt-in to get a full survey once they receive their order. Then, once they receive their order the full survey is emailed to them. Any ratings or reviews gathered are added to your Ratings/Reviews tab in your Shopper Approved member control panel. It's a very simple, smooth, professional process.
Do I need to upload any files onto my server?
No. Just copy and paste a simple piece of code into your "Thank You" page, and copy and paste a second piece of code anywhere on your site where you want the Shopper Approved seal to show up.
We suggest that you display it somewhere on the top fold of your first page.
How long until my ratings and reviews start showing up?
Your ratings will start to appear after you've had 10 initial ratings and/or reviews. This typically occurs after about 20 orders.
How are average ratings calculated?
Average ratings shown on your certificate are based on a lifetime average.
What is the difference between 'customer care resolution' and 'reporting feedback'?
Customer Care resolution is a premium service offered to our Platinum members, that allows them to open up communication with a customer to try and resolve any issues or negative ratings that they might have received. Once the issue is resolved, the customer has the option to re-vote and re-review the client. Their updated results are then displayed, which can help you improve your overall ratings. Reporting Feedback on the other hand, is an option that is available to all our clients that allows you to dispute a rating or review that you feel is inappropriate due to inaccuracies or rude or offensive comments. Once a rating or review has been examined by one of our staff, we will either approve your request and delete the rating, or we will reject your request and allow it to remain.

No. There's an option in your control panel area to test the seal on your site, and then hide it until you get 10 ratings. Once you hit 10 ratings it will automatically display.
