Siteground is really good. But in my modest opininon, I think people might use less wp.org, big organisations might but not small-teamed businesses. I've only heard horror stories about wp.org and seeing all this MySQL etc scared me away.
Took me ages to make my copy etc, now I feel like I have to learn MySQL, PHP or anything.
Siteground looks rad though.

I am a marketing company owner and developer, and moving all my clients to siteground.com because their support team is extremely knowledgeable compared to any other services such as godaddy which technical knowledge is almost nonexistent. They are always available and turnaround is exceptional!

Siteground is the best host in the game, hands down. I recommend everyone of my clients to you, and it's always been great.
Also, in terms of value for money, my clients also get many features they pay separately for, and they are nickel and dimed to death with those things.

I've never had to do such a complicated project. Needed an new host as AWS was very (very) difficult to work with. Checked out innumerable webhosts, and SiteGround's offerings fulfilled our needs with a very reasonable price. Turned out to be a very good choice.
Security is important to them; their documentation is comprehensive with lots of links to more in-depth information; the interface is fairly user-friendly, especially once you're used to it; and best of all, the customer support is superb.
Using Chat isn't my favorite form of communication, however, it really works well with them. They can put links in their response and the chat is recorded and accessible in the dashboard - nice way to keep track of what was changed and how. They have waited while I made the changes, then checked to see if I did it right and I had it tested. Really helps the stress level when you get help with resolving those problems that you just can't figure out on your own and you're the only one around - particularly when really important, high-profile things are broken.

Georgi didn't just give me instructions, he waited for me to do them, and when it didn't work, he figured out what the problem was. He had me edit a few things in the htaccess file. I'd never done anything like that before, and it was very reassuring to know that Georgi was there to make sure it went alright. The stress level was so much less.
And I am very grateful.
I also know, now, that SiteGround is there when I need them.
