I had to return these placemats due to staining on most of them. It looked like it came off the press and they were folded and the dyes bled. I had to pay $15 to return them on top of the $15 shipping they charged me for shipping the placemats and napkins. I had to cut my losses with all of the shipping fees. Shipping is way too high. I spent over $130 on napkins and placemats. You’d think shipping would be free but not with this company. Also…they do not have these items in their store. They both shipped from a warehouse in North Carolina. I ended up ordering directly from Park Designs who makes all of these products on this website. And I got free shipping with them and had my order in a few days vs 12 days with Country Village.

Hi Mrs. Johnson, I am truly sorry to hear of the issue you had with your placemats. We looked through our records and we never heard from you that there was an issue or we would have promptly dealt with the problem. We did receive the placemats back to us and see a tiny color run that may have happened during manufacturing on one of the placemats. Had we known about the issue prior to your sending it back, we would have immediately shipped out new products to you without the need to return them. I wish we would have had the opportunity to make it right for you. I did contact Park Designs directly and while they do sell to the public, our prices are always cheaper. They did not have a record of an order from you, so I am not sure how you placed that order, but again, please accept our apologies for this issue.
