Because the space it fits in is small and it fits in sidewise, it is difficult to use the foot pedal. Because of the small space and our need to fit a small wastebasket between the toilet and the Akord Slim, it would be helpful if the lid were two sided like the larger version Akord. I have found it easy to empty and refill and although I've looked, I've not found a better product for pad disposal.

Great product! Bags contain odor completely, unlike plastic grocery bags I had been using for my relative’s Depends. Bags are strong enough to hold a week’s worth of product. Very clever system that has been one of the top items this year that have proved my quality of life!

I previously purchased the larger unit and used for soiled clothing. The Akord Slim will be used for adult diapers. They are excellent at keeping the odors contained.
