I found these dimensions in an Amazon Q&A: The OD of the top is ~ 2 21/32" (67.5mm). The OD of the threaded portion is ~ 1 17/64" (32mm). The OD of the bottom of the tube is ~ 21/32 (16.6mm)". But the price was way better here.

Perfect it was just the part I needed. Just want to mention there is nothing that really measures one inch. The closest thing on the valve that measures one inch is the inside of the threaded part.

I can't give more than 3 stars on this product, because it was wrong size. This my be my mistake, but description was not good enough for me to make the right choice and there is only one small picture on the product that didn't help me either. Shipping was pricey and it won't work for me to replace it for the right size, so I ended up spraying the old part with paint. I got lucky with the other parts I have ordered (spa jets kit) they're right in size, fit perfectly and I'm happy about it. But honestly I've expected to have issues with them too because of the same reason (not clear information, description and pictures). I just took the risk to order them because on both products price was good. On the other hand I have paid 10 dollars for shipping (almost as much as I paid for the order) and that makes it unworthy of exchange. BTW English is a second language for me, so if my review is a little awkward I apologize. No bad feelings
