I can't say that I am a chinking connoisseur, but we bought this because it's what the original builder of our house used, and we wanted it to match after a renovation. The sale price was excellent, and the items shipped/arrived quickly.

I used Western Log’s Kleenstart which did an AMAZING job cleaning/peeping the logs, then Used this to caulk some cracks and then their Q8 stain and my house looks brand new!

The tube construction is now hard plastic, which works MUCH better with my pneumatic calk gun. Great improvement. The downside is, recycling plastic is a challenge these days, so it goes into the landfill never to decompose.
