I bought it as a gift for my daughter’s new kitchen. I do have an exact thing myself and have been using it for more than 10 years. Only difference is it is from a different company. I am pretty sure that it would be doing the same thing.

Very easy installing unit. I was using a Pure One water filter, it failed. I replaced it this U9000 WaterChef. The biggest reason is live water from this system, all reverse osmosis filters deliver DEAD WATER bad for your health. If you are devopling camera flim is a good system, if you are drinking water from a reverse a osmosis filler it is bad.

Overall pretty happy with the product. Very easy to install and the water tastes great. Only complaint is the faucet feels slightly loose and wobbly in its base on the sink. Also, when I first installed it I opened the metal container up to check on the filter. When I closed it, I thought tightened it pretty well, but it started leaking quite a bit once I set it up. I had to take it out and tighten it super super tight for it to stop leaking. Once I tightened more there hasn’t been anymore leaking.

Enjoying great tasting water! Really happy with my purchase. The only complaint I have is I ordered the brushed nickel faucet and received Chrome, it still looks nice anyways.

Replaced my culligan 2 cartridge under counter filter with this. It’s going to be SO MUCH easier to replace the filter cartridge. Water flows out probably 30% faster and tastes great. Install was simple.
