Absolutely excellent for the price. It is the only 4 channels scope in this price range with full control panel, with separate vertical controls for each channel. When you are hunting for the troubles with signals, doing front-panel piano just to adjust the gains gets old pretty fast. The trigger controls have not been given the same thought unfortunately. I tried the competition and they too prioritize features over ease of use. Multi-level menus are the norm. So thank you Instek for giving us at least one 4-channel model with separate controls. The omitted star is because this model appears to be a abridged version of Instek higher-end models and they left some unused buttons. All they do is say: "Not for you! You bought the cheap model!" I paraphrase.. On the other hand, the remote control capabilities are surprisingly rich - if you need a scope for test automation. Ethernet and USB - I tried both. A friend got one for this very reason, plus its access from Python. Anyhow, there is a lot to say about this scope - no regrets from me. Given the sampling rate spread across 4 channels, 50 MHz BW is honest.
