The train is really cute. Some of the track pieces were not fitting together properly right out of the box. Contacted Bachmann, which immediately replaced the defective track pieces. The coupling is tricky, but the engine runs really well. Love the decoration on the train.

Couplers - 10/26/2019
When I test ran the train the couplers would not "couple". Had to replace them with those included in the set. Not an easy job for those without the proper tools or experience.

This is my first purchase of a Z size train set. My first mistake was not reading the directions which cause me to reconnect the track properly at four locations. The rail pins were under the rail. I also had a problem with the power track section. The train would stop if going slow. I found that plastic lifted the wheel off the rail and it stop. I used a knife to remove some of the plastic and now all is well. The train works very well. I used only one pair of straight track with all the curve track because of limited space. Just the right size.
