I just received my tree and it would have been perfect if every single leader wasn't cut to fit it into the box.

I purchased two #7 containers. Each was shorter than expected, maybe 4.5’; not a big deal. The issue I have is on both trees, the main leads are pruned, presumably so the tree would fit in the box. Not an ideal scenario when one wants trees to grow tall. If you want a tree, but local.

I ordered 5 Dura Heat River Birches in October and they arrived healthy, but surprisingly beginning to leaf out. (Sadly, they were all single truck trees unlike the pictures.) I immediately contacted customer support because they should have been on their way to winter dormancy, not sprouting new leaves. The Tree Center said they would be fine. We planted them in ideal conditions along the bank of a lake and watered regularly. Eventually the leaves turned brown and fell off and now spring has sprung, but alas they are NOT fine. The trees are barely leafing out and most of the branches are dead. Customer service has been largely unresponsive. So disappointing.

The website gives a thorough description of the trees and if they are actually recommended for your area. I had a question on shipping that I sent via email and received a quick and complete explanation of their packing/shipping process. Will not hesitate to order again.

Ordered 7 gallon dura heat birch.Trunk diameters very small ..thin...compared to potted7 gallon size shown in pictures on website Tree was pruned....overall much smaller than expected even for $100. Height is about 4.5 feet.The website. Showed that regular price was $189....insane! Delivery was smooth about 5 days.

It was a great quality tree. I was actually shocked (in a good way) at the health of the tree when it arrived from shipping, as the tree looked better than most of the trees that I can buy at my local tree nursery. It has been planted for almost a month and has already grown 3+ inches. I will definitely buy again!

I waited almost a year to write review to see how my tree did. First, I want to say how impressed I was in the shipping/packaging, and I couldn’t believe how big my tree was. I received a beautiful specimen and very healthy. This tree was planted just months before Hurricane Harvey hit and after two unusual snow falls and freezes in Houston, my Spring leaves are coming out and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. As a young tree, it has already survived 4 elements that Mother Nature threw its way. Flood, wind, extreme heat, and freeze. It should grow into a beauty. Thank you!
