This is a very comfortable IR heat neck therapy device. It could use a velcro closure to hold the pad in close contact to the skin, but this can be managed on your own. It is warm, not hot, but penetrates deep to provide relief to the muscle spasm following my neck surgery (discectomy and fusion). Other neck devices I have tried are more for the shoulders than the neck, this fits the neck column very well targeting: levator scapulae, sternocleidomastiod, upper trapezius, splenius', scalenes, platysma and semispinalis capitis. Provides temporary relief for arthitis conditions (I have Ankylosing spondylitis), so I can relax enough to fall asleep. The construction is very durable, I have had the small pad for over a year of daily use and still in excellent condition including the power cord. There is no timer, but again you can add a timer to your electrical socket/plug, the switch is sturdy. I do not have to worry about the electronics burning out and starting a house fire.

Purchased the thermotex gold pad a week ago. Arrived quickly. Was amazed how quickly it worked. Love it. Decided to order the neck pad with the Black Friday sale.

Love the Thermotex heating pad for the neck. Only complaint is that the neck cuff is a bit of a tight little tight for both myself (I'm petite) and my husband (he's a size medium in tee shirts). Also the very big tag which is sewn onto the cuff gets in the way and is scratchy. I haven't yet cut it off but plan to very soon.

I have a very old Thermotex heating pad which now only has 2 panels working. I bought it when you you were selling through TSC. I still use it. I love the far infrared heat. It works for me. I was thrilled to see the neck device today when I checked your website. I have terrible cervical spine pain and cannot take anti inflammatories to help ease the pain due to an issue with anemia. Yes, I take pain killers, but am looking forward to what your neck device can also do to help. Fingers crossed it will help me. Thank you.
Neck pain in Québec - 12/02/2022
While I rated the product as a good buy - there was no neutral option to select - I have received it only a week ago and it is still early to tell how well it is working. My other thermotex generate more heat and seem to bring relief a bit more quickly, sometimes after one 20-30-minute session. It could be that neck pain is more challenging. So, I shall use it a little longer before forming a final opinion and decide whether to keep it. Thanks for asking.
