10/10! Highly recommend! I was blown away by the value given in the SLP consultation. My spouse and I had a complex case with multiple borrowers, loan types, loan holders, under grad, grad school, med school, consolidations, repayment plans, deferments...so many scenarios. My main goal was to feel confident that we were on the best repayment plans. Even if we didn't save a dime, the fee was worth the peace of mind. In one hour, Gabe developed, wrote out, and emailed us a detailed plan of action plan with spreadsheets. Between loan forgiveness, tax savings and payments, his recommendations WILL SAVE >$200,000! I'm still shocked. Best financial call I've ever made. Thank you, Gabe!!

Michael at Student Planner was beyond amazing in helping me understand my confusing loan situation. I was in a panic with huge parent and student loan debt, that came with an enormous payment! He created a plan for consolidation and showed me all of my options. He walked through all the steps I would need to take and answered all of my questions. When I booked the appointment, I really did not know what to expect. The only thing I knew is that I felt like I had been paying on my loans for a very long time. Gabe gave me a path forward. I now understand how long I have been paying on my loans, how to get a smaller payment and what needs to be done for my parent plus loans without giving up on my retirement accounts, and knowing I can afford my payments into retirement.

Angie was very informed and helpful. She packed a lot of information and advice into our 1 hour session and all of it was very helpful.

I found my session to be extremely helpful and clarifying. It helped break down what was so overwhelming and confusing to me in a very clear manner. I also really like that I get access to the spreadsheets we used in the session and can tinker with them on my own. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is that the forms only asked if I was married or single, which actually doesn't capture all statuses - I'm with a partner and plan on getting engaged soon... so we did not talk about what being married would look like in a community property state until the last 5 minutes, and how it would change my payments (which it will!). I ended up finishing the session with more questions than I started. I don't put this on the counselor, I think Student Loan Planner should have captured this in the pre-paper work.

Dennis was excellent. Focused and knowledgeable. His presentation to me of the facts about my parent plus loans was friendly and thorough. The information he provided will help me save literally thousands of dollars on payment plans. I also greatly appreciate that he sent me all his notes which meant that I did not have to scribble like a madman during our discussion. It was a thoroughly pleasant and useful exchange.

The experience was satisfactory and answered most of the questions I had. Dan did great job taking me through the process of consolidating my loans.
