My student loan consultation with Connor was great! I had gone into the meeting doing my own research of what options I thought would be best for loan repayment but was still not 100% sure with all the factors that go into it. Connor gave me that piece of mind by running the numbers and laying out all the possible scenarios. He also sent a follow up email with action items for the plan we came up with and is available for more discussion by email over the next few months as I implement this strategy. So happy we consulted with Hermes at Student Loan Planner. As parents who wanted to pay for our children's education, we had fewer options than some of the programs offered. This was 1000% well worth the money! I normally don't write reviews but this is one of those times where I think it deserves a good review. Our appointment was with Michael Dean and he helped my spouse and I figure out the best way to save money depending on which student loan repayment plan we do and how we file our taxes. As usual, excellent advice. They analyze all angles and come up with the best solution. They save you thousands of dollars and years of repayment by being up to date on all the latest information. I have never been led astray and have been using them for about 4-6 years now. It's like they can predict the future and I feel I have saved so much time and money. I have used a new planner each time and am always happy.

I am SOOOO happy that I did this. I have been waiting for YEARS to talk to someone who could tell me what I'm doing wrong on my student loans. Up until now, I've just been guessing, researching, spending hours on the phone and getting conflicting answers, and hoping that I'm doing the right thing. Why didn't we do this years ago? For years I've hesitated to book a consultation with SLP for fear that our situation was too complicated and hopeless. After all the recent changes in the student loan world, I felt even more overwhelmed. Out of desperation I reached out to them and they could not have been more helpful and they assured me that they've helped many people in similar circumstances. The time I spent talking with our SLP, Angie, could not have been more fruitful. Her knowledge of all things financial is impressive. We now have a plan going forward and can see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.
