I liked the shoes, they fit decently, but a bit too narrow even with the larger width. The laces provided are way to small when fully laced. My biggest issue is that I specifically needed ESD protection shoes, and while I was to wear these immediately at the required customer, I wore these for 20 work days before the required customer visit (customer delayed). Well on the 21st work day (Week 5) they passed the customer required ESD without issue. On day 22 they failed, completely. I tried 8 different ESD testing locations, and tried with and without socks, the ESD failed every time. These shoes are fine if you do not need ESD protection.

The shoe is to narrow, which causes pain. Similar brands of the same size are wider and fit much better. I would have returned them but the first day I wore them I scuffed them up on nonskid. Now I keep them as a back up pair in case my primary boots get lost.

I got these shoes for my work, and they felt and looked great! The problem was that the inside of the shoe began to break up and leave small, irritating particles inside under my feet. Really disappointed since I did like the shoes very much for the short while that they lasted.

I did describe myself above as conservative but I will pay more for a quality product. I think these boots made by Chippewa fit that description. One they are broken in they work great and last a long time.

I'm a defense contractor with the US Navy, performing maintenance on multiple naval vessels in port. I am constantly going up and down ladders and walkways to board ships and move about. These shoes are extremely comfortable and I chose them as a replacement for my molders due to weight and clunkiness. The leather nu-buck has held up against sheet metal and welding sparks aswell.

I work for an aggregate company and I'm on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day and needed a good, durable, and comfortable pair of boots. I am vey picky and had bought some of the expensive boots from RW and they did not last much and became very uncomfortable. I found these and this is the 2nd pair I buy. I would definitely recommend them and steeltoeshoes.com have treated me well and I have never had any problems with them in any way!

I use this product for work. I work long hours on hard/gravel surfaces, and this boot is comfortable as well as provides the protection needed for my feet.

Mainly I use them for work, I need a durable pair of shoes that can take some abuse. They already have their share of scars but it's to be expected, I do prefer the high end backs to the low end backs but both sets of shoes are great for work.
