This shoe is really heavy, it's perfect if you're working in a true industrial/construction environment. I'm in Admin but I need safety shoes for the shop floor so I wear them all day. These are the look I'm looking for, they look nice in dress pants or jeans. If you are going to be wearing socks, I would go up 1/2 size. Returned for different style.

I ordered a wide width so I didn't run into a seemingly more common problem with the toe cap rubbing on my toes. The toe caps however did rub, almost like the cap was the wrong size for the shoe. The leather is a good quality, which makes me sad that I had to send them back.

I have to say these are probably the most comfortable work boots I've bought so far. I've been a welder/fabricator for 15+ years and have gone through alot of different boots over the years. These are great! And even better that they didn't cost me $200+ like several other pairs I've tried. My daughter even commented the other night when I got home from work that my new shoes must be pretty comfortable because I wasn't running to change them like I normally do as soon as I get home.
