Leather wearing too soon , especially in toe area. Perhaps a better reinforced area. Work as an ironworker and nothing is more important than our feet and safety.

I have a pair i wear while not at work.At work i wear a water proof version treated with obenauffs,THey get exposed to 75 percent caustic at times and chemicals all the time.The pair before these lasted 2 yrs even having finally had a caustic hole that started their demise.They were not treated with obenaufs like my new ones.I wore that pair 24/7.I bet my street pair will last 3-4 yrs.

From the moment I put these boots on, they felt wonderful! The leather is very soft as are the soles. They felt fully broke in by the end of the first day. The soles provide excellent impact reduction and stability. It's almost a squishy feeling when you walk in them so if you walk a lot at work like I do, they definitely keep your feet from getting tired and sore. The only negative thing about these boots is that they don't breathe well but I suppose that's typical for most leather work boots. Best of all they are American made and you can see that in the quality of the material and the stitching. A little side note about the shipping, it took about 2 weeks for them to show up with standard shipping. They weren't actually shipped for 3 days after placing the order.
