It's a beautiful pit that is plenty large enough to build a large hot fire so it doesn't smoke! The smokeless ones are cool, but they don't radiate heat to legs and feet when sitting by them. This has it all, though you do need a hot (large) fire to get rid of smoke. Really cool looking. I can't wait to see the color change as I have more fires this winter.
