The product did not indicate it requires two end caps to stretch the filters to fit into the unit. Maybe I did not see it on the web, but it would have been beneficial to be aware caps not included and how much the caps cost.

As mentioned, it would have been more beneficial if the a/c filter product stated end caps were required to make the filter work. Should be a red flag , on the web site, next to product to indicated additional accessories are required. Also, if buying from shortys for a filter for a a new Hvac unit, strongly suggest you work with a representative, before buying, as the rep can make sure you have the correct filter. Also, after working with the rep, if the product does not fit, shortys will reimburse you and pay for the shipping the product back.
