About this CompanyOur story begins back in 2000, when Laura and Scott Jordan - our future Pocket entrepreneurs - realized the world of fashion was light years behind the ever-changing world of technology. Laura was tired of carrying all of Scott’s gadgets in her bags and Scott’s traditional pockets couldn’t carry everything he needed...and a man purse was out of the question. Scott had a brilliant idea: he would create a modified fisherman’s vest but with extra pockets, enough to hold all of his essentials but still stylish enough to wear out around town.
Those were the humble beginnings of SCOTTeVEST. The company has now evolved into an international business, with a full line of men’s and women’s vests, jackets, pullovers, hoodies, shirts, dresses, underwear, pajamas and pants; all designed to strategically hold and organize your personal belongings so whatever you need is always on hand.

I bought this vest because of the pockets. When we travel overseas I like to have my passport and VISA close to me; away from pickpockets. I was unsure of the size I should order. I'm always a small, but you never know how the sizes run. I am 5'4" and weigh 115 pounds. The representative told me I should order a medium and it was way too big. Now I am waiting for the exchange, which I hope comes soon.

I'm getting stuck trying to process this order with the discount. I gave the 'chat rep" my measurements, height (5'4") and weight (115 pounds) and was told I should order a medium. I was leaning towards a small, but didn't know how the sizes ran. The medium was way too big. Am waiting for the exchange.

I bought the first version of this hoodie back in 04. After all these years, I finally got the new version - even though the older one is still fine. Quality has always been top notch - you can beat these things up and they will last. Whatever you need to carry with you, this hoodie can handle. The new iPad pockets are massive. The hood is spacious, soft, and doesn’t make you look like a garden gnome. The thumb holes are amazing - it’s like having fingerless gloves on you all the time. I can not recommend this hoodie enough. It’s my favorite hoodie and I will always have one.

Years ago, I saw a hoodie on ThinkGeek but wanted it in cotton. I found that right on the SCOTTeVest website. I wanted all the pockets and I got them.

Besides the ability to put an entire laptop in an inside pocket of a hoodie? Comfort and durability. Particularly the durability - I’ve worn my hoodie to several different states, a couple different countries, and almost everyday 5-6 months out of the year, and it’s still kicking!

This is very specific - in the old hoodie design, there were magnetic closures for the front pockets and a stretch band on the right side pocket. I miss those.

This is the fourth item I have purchased from Scottevest. All are better than expected/advertised. True to size and WELL manufactured. I purchased my first piece in order to avoid baggage problems at airports. I can put so many things in Scottevest coats that I can reduce my carry ons, carry more, and breeze through TSA -- but the best is that everything is organized and at hand. When I bought my first coat, friends scoffed. But after a few international trips, they ask if I can carry things for them because their expensive designer pieces fall short. I needed Tropiformer for warmer climes.

Any of the products are actually better than described. This is my fourth item, only needed because this trip is to warmer weather. The best reason to buy any of these products is that they hold so much, and organize it. I can breeze through TSA by just taking off my coat, and still have every device and chargers, cash, ID, snacks and food AND MORE at hand at all times. This saves a carry on bag. Brilliant and valuable idea.

I'm petite, and the size Small ran true to size, lengthwise and across the chest and hips. However, I specifically ordered this to layer, and the picture showed this sleeve was looser fit than the other ("Maddie") cardigan style. The sleeves are too tight to layer over anything other than a tank or cami. Sleeves are quite long enough, but VERY narrow from elbow to wrist.

I rarely pay $99 for a pair of shorts, these are worth it. Uniquely designed for safely carrying all the items I need while sight seeing on my vacation. Very well made, excellent materials, and fit is perfect. I called to find out rise ( I hate low rise pants), a bit over 11” front rise: great, not too high. After my first pair, I now have three pair.

8-pockets? After receiving the pair of slacks, we loved the fit and the cut; however we began looking at all the pockets and could only locate 6. The so-called "coin pockets" are nothing more than slits which if you did happen to put any coins there, they will not stay there for long as they are only a slit and you'd lose them for sure.

I am 50 y.o. 5'7" female and was intrigued by this men's sweatshirt. I love it it is soft and with tons of useful pockets, but returned it for the L. The XL was way too big and I prefer baggy clothes. I am excited for the large to arrive.

I’ve had my vest for a few years now, and like its overall appearance and light weight comfort. However, the zippers are incredibly small and delicate. Way too often they get jammed up or caught in the worst possible moments. Please, please, please upgrade the zippers so that this product can be used without issue.

I dont mind spending extra on quality clothing, but I think scottevest should offer free returns.. it doesn't make me feel like a valued customer to have to pay another $10 for shipping pants back that were too small and different material (out of my control) when I had already spent almost $300.

Had to buy a second pair!! I have worn these from Florida to Tasmania and all the islands between! They protect from sun and cold. Quick Dry!! Spills/water brush off. I hand wash and hang dry quickly..no wrinkles. I was called the best dressed hiker on the Bondi to Manly Coastal Walk in Sydney. Easy to roll up to capri length for beach walks..or let flow for dressy slacks for the Theatre!

As per recommendation of CS agent, I bought a Small. Big mistake- skirt runs large. I don’t understand these reviews that say it runs small. I’m 5’3”, 112 lbs and while the waist is a bit loose, the skirt cut around the thighs is wide. I sent it back for an XS. I hope this fits better or it’s going back, as well. Overall, this skort would really fill an empty place in my wardrobe and seems very useful.

Slightly different than what is currently on-line . Layout of pockets is ok, some not practical or where I wish they were. There are some areas where I'm not sure exactly what the use would be. Nice material, appears well made and attractive. Definately needed to size up and glad I did. Do think it will make travel easier.

A better and slower video review of all pockets, esp interior would have been helpful. I feel like I HAVE to order --- the video and quick scan online was just too fast for me. The front exterior pockets extend all the way up to collar bone: why not make it into two exterior pockets on each side-- hand pockets on bottom and properly positioned chest pockets. I do not like the fact that the phone pocket is on the inside; I will be putting mine in the water bottle side for quick access to my right hand.

Ladies, size up! And pare down, as there really did not seem to be as many useful pockets as I expected. The gray is pretty. When worn open, it hangs funny in back, as if I have a small backpack underneath. Zipped, very nice.
