Laura was tired of carrying all of Scott’s gadgets in her bags and Scott’s traditional pockets couldn’t carry everything he needed...and a man purse was out of the question. Scott had a brilliant idea: he would create a modified fisherman’s vest but with extra pockets, enough to hold all of his essentials but still stylish enough to wear out around town.
Those were the humble beginnings of SCOTTeVEST. The company has now evolved into an international business, with a full line of men’s and women’s vests, jackets, pullovers, hoodies, shirts, dresses, underwear, pajamas and pants; all designed to strategically hold and organize your personal belongings so whatever you need is always on hand.

I'm impressed with the many hidden/concealed inside the jacket pockets, especially if you're a world traveler to some countries where "professional pick-pocketers" are at their game, you won't become a victim. My only is complaint is that it's to heavy, slightly bulky and will not be comfortable wearing it during summer vacation in a hot weather.

I've not put it on into my daily routine, but if the quality is similar to my older 24 pockets, which I'm still wearing from 2 years ago, I'm looking forward to wearing them in good health soon. Ya, finished quality looks on par or better than my current vest. My only gripe with the current (older) vest, like with the previous before, the lower back, almost unremovable pleats will form from sitting; 16 hours flight.

While pricey, it is a very well-designed Travel Vest. I have been looking for a travel vest that meets my needs for a long time. I finally found the right vest. The main feedback I will give to you is to use higher quality zippers (e.g. YKK) for the main zippers. For the price that you charge, you should the highest quality materials.

I have almost all the scottevest ever made. The quest is one of the best. More pockets than most and very comfortable with of them filled. Hangs evenly and conceals everything with no protrusions. The weight is cool and warm enough to be warm most of the time with no sweat. It'll probably be my go to vest for all occasions. Looking forward to seeing what they'll come up with next. It's also a great gift

This is the second QUEST in three years. I love the pocket layout of course, but the outer fabric on the first QUEST deteriorated and came apart. (Phone pockets shrunk, won't close over the long phone shape.) I wanted the more breathable cotton mix fabric. I noticed that the new vest is now one third cotton and the rest nylon, reverse of the previous vest fabric mix, which hopefully will last longer and is breathable enough. I'm taking a chance, because I like the vest design.

Your medium size is smaller than any medium size I have used. I can’t return it because the label was taken out which is a stupid rule when I only wore the vest once to try

Works as intended for storing all the little items for astronomy. Disappointed though that I found out that your business was in Australia, and that I was hoping to push some business your way during the "pandemic", only to find that the vest was made in CHINA! I didn't plan on supporting them, and that would have been a deal-breaker for me.

As far as good looking utility garments, you can get no better a product. I love pockets, and I love vests. This does both at a solid price point, and I fully intend to tell everyone I know about ScotteVest!

I own three Scotte vests. This is the best, and it is the best cargo vest, period. The diagram doesn't do it justice — not even close. It should be the six star vest in the Scotte line. You wouldn't want to fill every pocket, but the options are great. Just the pocket arrangement along each hip is ingenious. With this vest, they have thought of everything. Now, if they could just make a variant in a lighter fabric . . .

You must decide if you intend to wear the vest on the inside of another jacket or on the outside of another jacket. You will need a size larger to fit around the outside. I solved the problem by buying 2 sizes and love them both!
