I am a student at ARHS, and we just received a new shipment of desks this year. These being the (somewhat) new Virco 3400BRM models. they are built to last obviously and we had no problem punching the boxes they were stacked on in the halls while they unboxed them. And even the school giant alex couldnt make it budge! These desks have a lot of room for anything school related at once, i can easily fit a full size textbook a chromebook. and several copies of the bee movie with ease. and the crate below the desk can fit my chonky backpack which is rather impressive. it is easy to clean off the snapchats and obscene markings written by troubled students and you will only sweat a bit less when sitting through long exams. But they somehow feel more uncomfortable than last time, you would think paying 220 dollars (USD) would get you some padding for a surplus plastic and cheap metal desk thats only unique feature is a place so your pens dont roll down faster than james charles career. So in summary, its the same size as the ones before just a bit more room on the desk. and you might need to weld your spine together after finals.

All my chairs Virco 9018 are cracking where the two front rivets are. The girls' legs get caught between the cracks. Any kind of solution for this?

The Virco chairs are some of the highest quality chairs built in America.  They are also the most popular school chair in the USA by a wide margin, over 65 million have been sold.

With that said, there can be a manufacturer defect every once in a blue moon.  All Virco products come with a 10 year warranty and Virco is very proud of the products and will fix or replace a chair that fails (due to normal use and not abuse).

There is a label on the bottom of each Virco product that shows the Virco logo, date of manufacture, etc.  Please take a photo of this chair and send it to [email protected] as well as the photo of the damaged product.

We will work to get it replaced for you as long as it was manufactured in the past 10 years.

Don't waste your money. This design is not well thought out. Chromebooks cords will get tangled when stored. There is no space behind the chromebook once stored and plugged in. The only alternative is to place cords on top overlapping each other. I hope this helps someone else before you purchase and go through a costly return.
