MRF I - Today
This filter fit on the lens hood of my Olympus 40mm-150mm f2.8 Pro lens that I used with a 2X teleconverter to take photos during the two hours of the 4/8/2024 eclipse that reached 90% coverage in our location. The view using this filter was the same as when using the eclipse glasses we also purchased from Roberts. All in all, I was able to capture the eclipse as expected with this filter.

The lens is a really interesting piece of glass - let’s see how I manage with a camera that forces creativity through a single focal length. The image rendering that Leica does straight out of the camera can feel a bit dark in raw files, but they’re distinctive and, to my eye, very appealing. If you have the urge to use autoexposure correction in post processing, resist (or try it and see what you lose compared to the native DNG right off the card).

A wonderful buy for my Canon AE-1 Program. Purchased the camera from a friend and it came with a 28mm. Never owned a nifty 50 and this has been a wonderful lens addition so far. I purchased from Used Photo Pro. Love the ease of navigation and user experience in finding what I was looking for. Love that I could look for lenses by the mount. The lens conditions are transparent and the photos of the lenses (or whatever gear you're looking for) are photos of the actual item so you can see the actual condition. Both of the lenses I have purchased so far (I will definitely buy more) were packaged professionally. Upon opening, I had zero concerns about the safety of the products they're selling. 10/10 recommended

It was not easy to assemble and fold all of the tabs together. They started to rip so I just used painters tape to secure it to my camera.

Your hours make it very difficult to support your business vs shopping somewhere else online. You need to be open until at least 6 to allow for the average working person to make it to your store after work.

The piece arrived a day later than first scheduled, UPS at fault for that. Packaging, as always, was superb. Condition is better than expected, that is usually the case with Roberts. They tend to rate used equipment condition conservatively. As with most all tele-extenders, light fall-off and some sharpness loss. Considering the price, that is expected and acceptable.
