When it come to the new RAMs with the Multi-function Tailgate, the factory brackets lock out so many great options for tonneau covers. The RightOn replacement brackets are the way to go to get that perfect tonneau cover you want. They're super easy to change out and are probably stronger than the factory brackets. We did have to make a modification to the Lomax cover rails, but it was minor. Absolutely recommended for owners of that awesome multi-function tailgate.

The brackets are just what I needed and offered a wider selection of usable tonneau covers. Just wish you would take Discover as payment, though.

I cannot install a Bakflip MX4 bed cover with the new replacement brackets. The new MX4 rails are too long and the tailgate will not shut.

I understand the frustration here. Unfortunately these brackets only work with the MX4 if there are modifications made to the MX4. I recommend going to the 5th Gen Ram forum, where many customers explain how they made this work in more detail.
