So far so good, I received the item and it is just as described. I'll be installing it within the next couple of days. A few things I noticed--with a 1/2" drill bit (or paddle bit) the hole in the wood is not large enough for the bracket poles, the fit is impossibly tight. I ordered a 9/16" bit and will give that a try (5/8" was too large to be secure). Also, I'm a little puzzled by the spacing of the mounting holes, they are slightly under 6" apart so if one hole lines up with a stud it's almost guaranteed that no others will. However, it feels very sturdy/high quality and is just what we needed for this project so I'll work with it.

There is more flex in the bracket that I would ideally like, although I'm not real sure how to strengthen it much more based on the design.
