After 50 years of accumulating documents of various kinds, I decided it was time to review those items, scan them and shred. My computer is an iMac desktop, and my computer skills are probably in the average range for a guy my age. I researched scanners online and bought a Raven Pro directly from the company. I’ve been working with it for about a month. The Raven Pro is both easy to use and fast. Sending documents to the Raven cloud, doing downloads to my computer and then doing back-ups to a USB drive is easily mastered. Customer support at Raven is excellent. I called them on a couple of occasions when I was setting up the system. They responded quickly and provided me with clear guidance. I also appreciate the fact that their customer support is in-house and located in Texas. If you are like me, a guy in his 70s who knows it’s time to do some sorting and scanning, I enthusiastically recommend the Raven Pro for your consideration.

I really like this scanner. Previously I purchased and returned to other scanners; one because it was to slow and one because it did not have TWAIN drivers. This scanner has it all: 1) Color 300 dpi is blindingly fast. Even color super high res is relatively fast (about 12 pages per minute). 2) All three connection options - Wifi, RJ-45, USB. Using one of the newwork options, multiple computers can be connected at the same time. 3) TWAIN support so you can use this scanner with third party scanning software (Fujitsu SnapScan does not have this). This is really important. 4) Scan directly to the cloud (e.g. DropBox, etc). 5) Very nice large screen for intuitive touch screen user interface. 6) Heavy duty. 7) Relatively easy setup. 8) Excellent customer service. Well worth the extra $200 you might pay compared to the slew of $400+ scanners on the market.

Very user friendly interface! Easy to use and performs as advertised/expected. The Raven Cloud storage option is a great feature making it super easy to organize files. I am very pleased with my purchase. Also, very helpful and responsive support.

Been looking on this scanner for quite a while and finally bought it. It seems a little expensive but hopefully it's worth it. I tried scanning a document (two-sided) and it was pretty fast and easy to navigate. I still have to figure out how to organize the papers in the cloud once I start scanning lots of papers. The purchasing part was easy and quick. They responded quickly when I forgot to encode the coupon code and they refunded it immediately. Installation was easy.

The two main selling points for me were that it works independently from a computer (no downloading of annoying software) and that Raven is a US company. Set-up was pretty simple (I had one setback and their customer support responded straight away and helped walk me thru) and the footprint is smaller than I expected. And it is FAST! Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! Old, crinkled papers with folded corners and tattered edges flew thru the scanner as quickly as new, crisp papers. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase.

I am so sold on the Raven Pro scanner that I bought a second one for our office. Combining the ease of use, all the features work great with the Mac Pro as well as the PC and the customer service - beyond any I’ve experience, make this an outstanding product!

I put this in my wish list. What a wonderful surprise to get it as a Christmas present! As I'm close to paperless now, I use a scanner frequently for my home office. I've had about every brand you can think of over the years. There is isn't a single one that comes close to the speed, quality and ease of use. I had some sort of conflict with the scanning software I had been using (NeatReceipts) when I installed the software utility for this. I called customer service and I will give Ravenly great reviews of the assistance I received also :) My son, who got this for me, used it for the first time yesterday. He has recommended their office purchase one. He's a Mac user. I'm Windows. He loved the fact it was so easy to use and send docs to other places without being connected to any type of computer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
