It’s an unusual application but perfect for what I had envisioned. The trick was I was mounting to a curved surface. Has to use a heat gun to warm it up and gently mold it to the mounting surface. Used as a high mount running and turn signal on my motorcycle.

These are mostly housing, led strip is 1/4" × 6". Can use them with out chrome housing and flat black the base to hide. Very water proof, shock resistant, and can be used as signal. These light up good during day but not in direct sun, at night they are bright with 2 voltage (low//high) line inlet. Worth the $20 pop for each.
