Fenders arrived as described. This was the 1st time I made a Pinewood car and the fenders worked out perfectly. They were,; however, slightly thinner than expected (5/16" vs. 6/16"); and, height made the bottom clearance between car and track 1/2" vs 3/8"). Both fenders came attached to each other making it easy to cut both pieces at the same time with a coping saw. Attached is a photo.

Need very heavy weights to slide in the side of this car to get it up to 5 ounces. I used your cutable weights and could not get there. Ended up having to glue two large coins to the bottom. Might want to consider drilling from the back to hold the weights.

Your decals are too fragile. Some came apart while trying to get off the paper. May need to be a little thicker.

Worked well. My son and I did everything else regarding the car and getting it ready for the derby and polished axles from Pinewood Pro did the rest. We came in 1st place in our Pack. Shipped super quick.

Very good plans and easy to follow. I’d love to have a mirror image of the side view on the template. That would’ve helped an unskilled woodworker like me using just hand tools to build this car

These plans were a huge help with our son's car. He was having a hard time deciding on a shape he wanted and this made it super easy for him. Giving you tips on where to put the weights and how to balance it made building the car easier and was great at helping our son learn about the process

used to drill 2.5 degree axle hole. worked well but double check alignment of holes after tightening this tool to wood to assure everything is square before drilling.

For a wedge style body these work well. There is enough different weights to work in most situations. There is some variance in each weight so use a small scale to verify
