About this CompanyCircuit Specialists, located in Tempe Arizona at 819 W Fairmont Dr Ste 2, started out in Darrel and Leon Thorpe's garage in Scottsdale, Arizona back in 1971. By September of that year Circuit Specialists had moved into a small office and published its first mail order catalog, called "Semiconductor SuperMart," which featured resistors, capacitors, diodes, chokes, coils, and newly invented integrated circuits (ICs) as well as other products for electronics hobbyists and do-it-yourselfers.

I have purchase 3 of these for training on E-Bikes and lithium batteries. With training you can safely charge lithium cells from a low voltage to a recommended voltage by the battery manufacture so the BMS will allow charging with the OEM battery charger. I have brought over 200 E-Bike batteries back to life when the owner let the voltage fall below the BMS minimum charging voltage. I have revived batteries where the voltage has fallen to 5 volts or less. I measure the capacity after charging. Some are at 100%.

An otherwise great product, but the outlet is poorly constructed and failed after several plug insertions. I had to replace it with a commercial grade 20 Amp outlet, the one it came with was only rated for 15 Amps. Hope there newer units are better constructed.

I needed to make a one of a kind, small, 2-sided circuit board. Trace width was 0.5 to 1mm and worked good. I also used a thermal laminator.to affix the transfer paper to the copper sheet.

I found the products I wanted, at fair prices, however was surprised by no free shipping. Not that I care to pay for shipping, but they advertised free shipping on orders over $99, perhaps the site should be updated.

It just works. Nothing fancy and the price reflects that, but it's a workhorse. This is the third of these that I've owned. They last about 5 years then mysteriously stop working. Buy extra handles, they burn up about once a year.

Easy ordering process, but your shipping seems much higher than other companies charge. For example, a recent Digi-Key order cost me $7.99 to ship UPS Ground. Make that cost *actual* shipping and your business will increase dramatically.

Once I recieved this item, it was in good condition and it worked perfectly. My lamp works fine with no issues. The batteries were a little hard to get into the holder, but once in they have been snug ever since!
