The joint seams of the wood are directly in the middle of the juice grooves. I own another Boos Block and it looks much nicer. It was a gift I had shipped directly to my nephew and I wish it had been sent to me first.

I ordered the Block that I did because it said it was in stock. Over a week passed since I had ordered before shipping confirmation which I received on a Thursday afternoon before the weekend of the Birthday. The shipping department must have been glitchy because he received the package on Friday night but it gave me a scare it would be late.

I didn't see that the new butcher block would need seasoning. If it wasn't mentioned, perhaps it should be emphasized. We were careful until the sealant pack arrived. It is gorgeous.

We purchased (2) 20x15 maple cutting boards for Bridal lShower Gifts. We were amazed to see the quality workmanship and took them to an engraver to engrave my wite' s favorite menu. Both of our Granddaughters promised to keep them for memories of Grandmother.

Arrived in perfect shape. Was exactly as described. So far, very happy with it. Time and wear will tell. This is a replacement of one that was custom made in 2000. Needed replacing as a major home repair was done and the idiot construction team put my first one in the garage for a year and got destroyed by the elements. This one is an upgrade and I pleased so far.

Relatively easy to order. However, impossible to contact the company for follow up and status update. This is a big negative. You are given an order number and that is it until you receive the item. Despite this, I am giving you a 2nd order for a smaller cutting board that I am still waiting on.

It’s perfect for what we needed. Replaced a 24x24 end grain butcher block with this after a house fire. The towel bar is fairly useless. No pilot holes, the supplied screws were too long and it sets so low that we don’t use it.
